How to make Dry Fruit Thandai
Step-1
Soak almonds, cashew nuts, peppercorns, raisins, cardamom, poppy seeds, fennel seeds, and melon seeds in 1 /2 cup water for 5 - 6 hours.
Step-2
Strain the water and grind the soaked ingredients in a blender to make a smooth paste.
Step-3
Add little milk if required.
Step-4
Add the remaining milk.
Step-5
Pass the mixture through a soup strainer.
Step-6
Add sugar, saffron soaked in milk and rose water and mix till sugar is dissolved.
Step-7
Pour the thandai in serving glasses.
Step-8
Garnish with rose petals and dry fruit slivers.
Step-9
Serve chilled.
