How to make Dal Dhokli, Dal seitan, Dal Pasta
Knead the wheat flour with water and rest the dough for 15 mins. Then, roll the dough and cut small pieces, give it desired shape. Boil water in a pan, add little salt and boil the dough pieces for 1 hour. Strain the dough pieces(seitan) and add to the dal.
Soak toor dal for an hour. Cut and chop lauki into small pieces. Boil dal and lauki. Make paste of tomato, green chili and ginger. Make tadke with ghee, rai and jeera, asofoetida, and add the tomato paste. Cook for a minute and add the boiled dal and seitan. Add salt and turmeric, red chili powder, jeera powder and cook for 5 mins. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
