How to make Chicken Thukpa
Step-1
Step 1 - In a deep pan add 2 cups of Water, Chicken, the Onion part of spring onion, 4-5 peppercorn, 4-5 pepper cloves, 1 star anise and put it to Boil.
Step-2
Boil the chicken for approx 20-25 mins till its ready to shred.
Step-3
Step 2 - Meanwhile in a blender, add diced Onion, diced tomato, Chillies, Garlic, Ginger and make a paste. (add a tablespoon of water if required not more)
Step-4
Step 3 - Once the chicken is boiled, filter the water into another vessel and keep the chicken aside. We will need this chicken broth for the soup.
Step-5
Step 4 - In a hot pan, add oil and add the paste we made earlier and saute it for 2-3 mins on medium flame.
Step-6
Step 5 - Add the chicken broth to the paste and start mixing.
Step-7
Step 6 - Chop the leaves of spring onion and the coriander and add to the chicken broth.
Step-8
Step 7 - Add salt as required and squeeze the lemon juice into the broth.
Step-9
Step 8 - Finally shred the boiled chicken into fine pieces and add to the broth.
Step-10
Voila. sprinkle coriander from top for garnishing. Your Chicken thukpa is ready.
