Ingredients

Raw Chana Dal 100gm (Soak it 6-8 hours or least 2 hours in warm water)

Chicken Breast Boneless cut to small pieces 300gm

Onions 3 Small or 2 Medium 120gm (finely chopped)

Ginger Garlic Paste 1 Tbsp

Black Pepper Whole 1 Tsp or as per taste

Kashmiri Red Chili Powder 1.5 Tsp

Coriander Powder 1 Tsp

Jeera Whole 1 Tsp

Garam Masala or Meat Masala or Chicken Masala 1 or 1.5 Tbsp

Coriander Leaves 15g or as per taste

Olive Oil 2 Tsp (only for frying)

Black salt as per taste

Green chillies chopped as per taste

Method

Step 1

Cut Boneless Chicken Breast into small pieces (Do not mince or use mixer)

Step 2

Soak the Chana dal for - hours or least hours in warm water

Step 3

Add Black Pepper whole in the Ginger Garlic Paste (you can add it while making the Paste or ground it and add later)

Step 4

Take a pressure cooker add the chicken, chana dal, Ginger Garlic paste and all above spices and masala. Onion and Salt as per taste. Add little water and mix it.

Step 5

Now add / glass water or till level just to Soak the ingredients (note the ingredients should not dip in the water). Once it is boiled the consistency should be thick. close the lid and give - whistles

Step 6

Open the pressure cooker and mash everything using a hand smasher. Avoid using a blender. Try to mash it when it is at hot stage. Once mashed allow it to cool slightly

Step 7

In the mash ingredients add rest of the onions (finely chopped), green chillies chopped and chopped coriander leaves

Step 8

Mix everything really well (Use a hand glove if needed but use your hands for mixing)

Step 9

Make Round balls and press it to form round and thin kababs (make sure the kababs are not very thick). you can make - kababs. KEEP THE KABABS IN REFRIGERATOR FOR MINUTES or mor BEFORE FRYING THEM

Step 10

Heat a non stick pan and brush it with olive oil (less than tsp oil is needed if you are using a brush). Add the kababs and fry till both sides are golden brown or cooked properly. SERVE HOT

Step 11

NOTE: you may also use air fryer for frying. You store the kababs in air tight container in the refrigerator.
