- Chicken 200 gm
- Mushroom's (Portobello or Baby Bella) 200 gm
- Finely Chopped garlic 4-5 large cloves
- Chilly powder
- Dried Oregano or cilantro
Cut chicken into medium strips. Add salt pepper chilly powder and dried oregano and mix well. Slice mushrooms into medium slices and keep ready.
Heat pan and when it’s hot add the chicken(We have used chicken thighs and did not add any oil as thighs have fat in them). Let cook for 2 minutes then add chopped garlic and mix well. cook until chicken is no longer pink.
Add the sliced mushrooms. Cook in medium flame until the water from mushrooms thickens. Check the taste and adjust seasoning as needed. If you are having it with Roti or rice you can add more spices
If you use chicken breast fat will reduce to 6gms for the overall recipe but you will need to use additional fat like butter/ghee/coconut oil to keep the chicken moist.
