Chicken Meat Balls in Creamy Tomato Sauce
- Minced Chicken Breast - 100 g
- Tomatoes - 150 g
- Onion - 50 g
- Bread - 1 slice (powdered)
- Oil - 10 g
- Butter -10 g
- Coriander - 1 tbsp
- Cream - 20 g
- Egg - 1 ( raw)
- Salt to taste
- Chilli flakes / red chilli powder- as per taste
- Basil leaves (chopped ) - 1 tsp
- Dry Herb mix - as per taste
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Chopped green chilies - as per taste
- Garlic cloves - 2
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Mix chicken, bread, egg, salt, coriander leaves, herb mix ,green chilli and finely chipped onion ( 20 g). If you have time then leave this mixture into fridge for an hour
Divide the dough into equal sized small balls.
Heat oil and butter in a pan and shallow fry the above meat balls until golden brown
Remove them in a plate, and add chopped onion and tomatoes , basil leaves and garlic in the same pan. Cook them for about 4-5 min until everything is cooked nicely.
Grind the above tomato- onion mix into a smooth paste and pour it into the same pan.
Season it with salt, black pepper ,herb mix, chili flakes. Add some water and let it cook for about 3-5 min.
Add cream and meat balls to it and let it simmer for a min or two. Serve hot with roti, paratha, rice or noodles
