How to make Chicken Curry


Dice the chicken into chunks wash and marinate using 1 tsp turmeric , 1tsp chilly powder and some salt. Set aside for 30 mins.


In the mean time dry roast the whole spices and grind along with coconut pieces, ginger, garlic to a fine paste. Chop the onion and green chilly.


In a non stick pressure cooker / pan add some cooking spray and saute the onions and chillies along with a little salt. Now add in the marinated chicken pieces and cook till it leaves water ( approx 10-15 mins) on medium flame.


Now add the coconut paste and mix along. Dilute using water to desired thickness. Add remaining dry spices ( corriander powder - chilly powder). Close and pressure cook for 1 whistle on medium flame or 15-20 mins without pressure pan.


Switch off and wait for the pressure to release. Serve hot with rice/ bread.
