  • Recipe Ingredients listPotato - 50 g ( boiled and grated)
  • Recipe Ingredients listPowdered rice / rice flour - 10 g
  • Recipe Ingredients listOil - 5 g
  • Recipe Ingredients listBaking soda and powder - 1/8 tsp each
  • Recipe Ingredients listSalt to taste
  • Recipe Ingredients listChilli flakes to taste
  • Recipe Ingredients listVegetables of you choice
  • Recipe Ingredients listMayonnaise- 1 tsp ( optional)

Direction

Step-1

A) Steps for making bun -

Step-2

Mix baking powder and soda in oil

Step-3

Mix flour, curd , 1/4 tsp salt and above mixture. Add required water to make soft dough . Flatten the dough with fingers to make a shape of burger bun

Step-4

Bake it in a preheated oven for around 18-25 min at 180 C. This time may vary based on type of flour and consistency of dough.

B) Steps for making tikki -

Step-6

Grind boiled chick peas and add potato, chilli flakes, salt & rice flour. Mix everything together

Step-7

Divide the dough in 2 parts

Step-8

Bake them at 180 C for 8 min and then at 220 c for 6-10 min until crisp from outside

C) Get your food ready. -

Step-10

Cut the bun into half and toast it for 1-2 min on a greased pan
