How to make Black Urad dal

Step-1

Soak dal for 30 mins

Step-2

Take a pressure cooker and add all the ingredients except for ghee

Step-3

Pressure cook for 6 whistles

Step-4

Whisk lightly with a manual whisk

Step-5

Take a small pan, heat ghee and add some finely chopped garlic pieces until garlic turns golden. Add the tadka to the dal and add red chilli powder
