Ingredients

  • Recipe Ingredients list35gms -Jowar/Sorghum Flour or Mixflour (Jowar+wheat)
  • Recipe Ingredients list15gm- Grated Beetroot (Add veggies according to the quantity of flour)
  • Recipe Ingredients listSalt to taste
  • Recipe Ingredients listPinch of turmaric
  • Recipe Ingredients listChilli powder accourding to the taste (can be avoided)
  • Recipe Ingredients listHot water - for kneading the flour

Direction

Step-1

Mix the above ingredients and make a roti type dough.

Step-2

Make them in small portions (lemon size) and keep aside.

Step-3

On a plate a piece of alluminium foil or butter paper, grease the centre part with ghee/oil.

Step-4

Flatten the dough ball on the foil with you hand.

Step-5

Make a hole in between so the thalipeeth can cook properly.

Step-6

Delicately remove thalipeeth from the foil, place it on hot greased tava. Pour few of ghee on the sides of it. Roast on both sides.

Step-7

Serve hot with your choice of chtney.
