Beetroot Jowar Thalipeeti
- 35gms -Jowar/Sorghum Flour or Mixflour (Jowar+wheat)
- 15gm- Grated Beetroot (Add veggies according to the quantity of flour)
- Salt to taste
- Pinch of turmaric
- Chilli powder accourding to the taste (can be avoided)
- Hot water - for kneading the flour
Mix the above ingredients and make a roti type dough.
Make them in small portions (lemon size) and keep aside.
On a plate a piece of alluminium foil or butter paper, grease the centre part with ghee/oil.
Flatten the dough ball on the foil with you hand.
Make a hole in between so the thalipeeth can cook properly.
Delicately remove thalipeeth from the foil, place it on hot greased tava. Pour few of ghee on the sides of it. Roast on both sides.
Serve hot with your choice of chtney.
