Ingredients

  • Recipe Ingredients listbeetroot -1 carrot-1 onion-1 tomato-1 groundnuts-3/4 tablespoons chana dal- 2 tablespoons cumin seeds-2 teaspoons ginger-1 inch garlic - 6-7 cloves turmeric- 1 tea spoon salt-to taste mirchi powder - to taste pepper powder- to taste paneer -optional

Direction

Step-1

Heat the pan

Step-2

Add oil/ghee ,add cumin seeds and wait for them to splutter

Step-3

Add ginger and garlic and wait for the aroma

Step-4

Add chana dal and wait for them to change color

Step-5

Add peanuts and wait for them to change color

Step-6

Add chopped onions and wait for them to turn pink

Step-7

Add turmeric

Step-8

Add chopped beetroot,carrot and tomato

Step-9

Add salt

Step-10

Wait for the Vegetables to turn mushy, if not add some water and bring it to boil

Step-11

Once the vegetables are cooked ,cool them add grind them to a puree

Step-12

Pour this puree into a pan and add vegetable stock/whey/water and add bring it to a boil

Step-13

Milk can be added if you like it sweetened

Step-14

Add mirchi powder and pepper powder

Step-15

Garnish it with 2 tablespoons of homemade paneer
