How to make amritsari chole


1. Soak the chole for atleast 12 hours 2. pressure cook with the tea bag, cinnamon, black cardamom and salt, in 2cups of water. cook for 15 whistles. 3. in a pan, take ghee, add the cumin and grated ginger. then add onions and cook till translucent. add the tomato puree, along with some water and cover and cook for 5-7mins. 4. add the red chilly powder and coriander and cook till the raw smell disappears. 5. remove tea bag from cooker, mash the chole slightly with the back of the spoon, so that some chole get mixed in the water for boiling and form the gravy. 6. add the onion tomato mixture, and boil once till you get a thick consistency. squeeze the lemon juice. garnish with coriander leaves 7.
