- Amla grated 40g
- Rice 50g
- Groundnuts 10g
- Olive oil 7ml
- Mustard seeds 1tsp
- Methi/Fenugreek Seeds 2tsp
- Green chilli 1 big
- Ginger 1/2inch grated
- Dry red chilli 1
- split urad 1pinch
- gram dhal 0.5 tsp
Dry roast mustard and Fenugreek Seeds separately. let them cool and grind to powders.
Cook the rice and keep aside.
In a grinding jar, add green chilli, amla, ginger, salt and make paste.
In a hot pan, add olive oil and then add urad dhal and gram dhal, dry red chilli and fry until there's aroma.
Add amla paste and fry for a min.
Add the cooked rice and mix well.
Sprinkle the mustard and Fenugreek powders and mix well.
P.S You can use mustard and Fenugreek powders that are readily available.
This will be a spicy rice so you can take curd as an accompaniment.
