Ingredients for Airfried falafel wrap
- › -55 gm chickpeas for falafel and hummus. 10 gm sesame seeds
- › - 50 gm hung curd for dip
- › - Any roti/pita bread for making wrap
- › -5 gm olive oil
Method
1. For falafel, take around 40 GMs chickpeas which are soaked for around 10 hrs - Put soaked chickpeas in a food processor/mixer, add 2-3 garlic pods, half onion, handful of cilantro, salt, cumin powder, coriander powder. Grind to a coarse paste - Add 5gms of sesame seed and 1tsp of flour and refrigerate for around 1 hour - For hummus, boil remaining 15 GMs chickpeas with salt, add to mixer, add 2-3 garlic pods, little lemon juice and grind to a smooth paste by adding little water. Add tahini paste and around 5 GMs olive oil. - Take out the falafel mix from refrigerator and add little baking soda to the mix. Make small balls of the falafel mix and airfry for 20 minutes till golden brown - For garlic dip, take hung curd, add around 7gm cream cheese, finely chopped garlic, salt and black pepper. - For the wrap, I took homemade chapatis, apply generous coating of hummus and place 2 falafels at the centre. Top it up with little salad( I took onion and cucumber with little salt and lemon squeezed). Finally add hung curd , wrap it and enjoy falafel wrap
