50 gms dal (any) 50 gms rice salt as per taste 2 tsp ghee 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp roasted cumin powder 1 tsp cumin seeds few kokam & curry leaves water 2 cups 1 tsp homemade rasam powder soak dal & rice together in water for 30 mins. take a pressure cooker. add ghee. add cumin seeds. let them crackle. add tomato. roast it well. add salt, spices, kokam & curry leaves. add dal & rice. add water. pressure cook for 3 whistles & serve hot with curd.
