Veg. Rawa Uthapam
RAWA UTHAPAM INGREDIENTS: 50 gms Sooji/rawa 50 gms curd /yogurt 1 green chilli fine chopped 50 gms tomato chopped 50 gms onion chopped 1/2 tsp red chilli powder 1/4 tsp black salt white salt to taste 10 gms ghee 1/4 tsp mustard seeds (rai) coriander leaves finely chopped a pinch od baking soda METHOD: 1.In a bowl take rawa, add curd to it and give it a mix. 2.To this add onions,tomato, green chillies, coriander leaves and add water to make a semi thick batter. 3.To this add both the salt, red chiili powder, baking soda. 4.Give everything a good mix and set aside for 10 minutes, allowing rawa to absorb water.If you find it very thick add more water. 5.In a dosa pan , spread lil ghee, add mustard seeds to it and pour laddle full of batter on it and dont spread it much, it should be lil thick. 6.Cover it and let it cook on sim for 5-8 minutes. 7.Uncover it flip it and roast from the other side too. 8.Serve it hot with green chutney , coconut chutney.
