Chicken Kassa(Kosha) & Matar Pulao
So people around you said diet food is blunt and boring. This recipe is dedicated to all the Odias & Bengalis in this group. Chicken Kassa/Kosha(Chicken Masala) & Jeera Matar Pulao(Peas Pulao) Chicken - 300g Ghee - 20g Onions -200g Green Chillies Green peas Cumin Seeds for tempering Basmati Rice - 180g Marinate chicken with turmeric powder, chicken masala, kashmiri mirch powder, black pepper powder and keep aside. Saute chopped onions in ghee till golden brown. Add ginger garlic paste and cook till the raw smell goes off. Add the required spices and some water and green chillies and cover it to cook. Cook till the ghee gets separated from the onions. Add the marinated chicken and cover it till the chicken gets cooked. Add green peas and cook for few more minutes. You may choose to garnish with chopped coriander leaves. I didn't have them with me so didn't add. Green peas pulao - Cook the rice.Temper cumim seeds in ghee & add green peas and saute for some time. Add the cooked rice & salt as per taste. I cook my lunch & dinner together.
