50 gms besan (gram flour) 200 gms veggies (of your choice) 4 tsp ghee 1 tsp cumin seeds 1 tomato 1 tsp tamarind paste (sugarless homemade) 1 tsp methi seeds 1 tsp rasam powder (homemade) 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp roasted jeera powder 1 tsp garam masala powder Salt as per taste 2 cups water Few curry leaves Take a thick deep bottom pan or a pressure cooker. Add ghee. Add cumin seeds & methi seeds. Let them crackle. Add besan & roast it on slow flame till bright golden brown. Add salt, rasam powder, spices, tomato & water. Let it cook for 5 mins. Add tamarind paste & veggies. 2 whistles & Curry is ready. Also u can keep on slow flame for approx 12-15 mins till veggies are cooked. Add Curry leaves & serve hot with steamed rice.
