Yellow Moong Dal Kadhi:- Moong Dal:- 25 GM's Thick Curd:- 70 GM's Water:- 1 LTE Onion:- 1 chopped Ginger-Garlic paste:- 1 teaspoon Curry leaves:- 1 stem Red chilli 1 Turmeric Powder:- 1 teaspoon Whole Spice:- 2 teaspoon (I used cumin, black pepper, cardomom, cinnamon, mustard, and methi) Asofetida:- 1/4 teaspoon Ghee:- 17 GM's Salt:- As per taste Method:- Soak the Moong Dal for 2-3 hours and then couersly grind it, add add curd, turmeric powder and 1 cup water in the same grinder and grind it. Add ghee in the kadhai/pan. Add all the whole spices and then add onions and saute it for 1 min. Now add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell on ginger garlic is gone. Add curry leaves and the asofetida. Mix it and add curd Moong Dal mixture. Add water and bring it to boil. Add salt and let it cook for 15 min. (keep adjusting water as per your need) Add one teaspoon of lemon juice. In another wok add 1/2 teaspoon of ghee and add little asofetida and then 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder. Add that to the kadhai and garnish it with corriander leaves. it's ready to serve.
