If you are on a fat loss journey , and fasting sometimes it gets difficult to Manage. So here I am posting a quick recipe of a sabudana khichdi , it’s a Malwa ( Indore ) delicacy And preparation is done in Indoriya style .

Ingredients

  • listcheck60 g Sago
  • listcheck100 g potato
  • listcheck50 g Peanuts
  • listcheck5 g Ghee
  • listcheck1 tbps Cumin seeds
  • listcheck1-2 Green chilli
  • listcheckLemon juice
  • listcheckRed chilli powder
  • listcheckRock salt ( fasting)
  • listcheckSugar free ( as per taste )
  • listcheckCoriander
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Soak Sabudana for 2-3 hours. Or until it’s done
  • Step-2
    Pressure cook potatoes.
  • Step-3
    Roast peanuts on a low flame.
  • Step-4
    Peel potatoes and mash it , Grind roasted peanuts in a mixer, chop green chilli , Green Coriander.
  • Step-5
    In a big bowl take soaked sabudana , add mashed potato , add lime juice , rock salt , grinded peanuts , Red chilli, sugar free ( optional) .Mix it well.
  • Step-6
    In a Heated pan , add Ghee , cumin seeds, green chilli . Add prepared mixture.
  • Step-7
    Cover the lid for 5 mins.
  • Step-8
    Serve hot with Green Coriander Chutney.
