Ingredients

  • listcheckChole 100 gm
  • listcheckRice 80 gm
  • listcheckGhee 10 gm
  • listcheckPotato 50 gm
  • listcheckOnion 1 Medium
  • listcheckGreen chilli 2
  • listcheckChole Masala,Salt,Red chilli Powder
  • listcheckCorainder leaves
  • listcheck4 Garlic cloves
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Soak Chole overnight
  • Step-2
    Take 1 spoon Tea leaves and boil. Add this water to chole and boil for 5-6 whistles in a pressure cooker. Tip- 4 whistles on high flame and 2 on low flame. You can add salt while boiling. The tea leaves contribute to the dark color of the chole.
  • Step-3
    For Tadka : Add ghee to a pan, chopped onion and garlic paste and cook until light brown. Add tadka to the chole and add Chole masala.
  • Step-4
    Take half a bowl of chole and mash the same and mix it again.
  • Step-5
    Boik for 1 whistle at a low flame.
  • Step-6
    Garnish with Corainder and serve with steamed rice.
