I just love this recipe as we don't have to blanch, grind, make spinach Puree for this.

Ingredients

  • listcheck100 g boneless chicken breast
  • listcheck150 g chopped spinach
  • listcheck10 g ghee
  • listcheck50 g chopped onion
  • listcheck50 g sliced tomatoes
  • listcheck1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • listcheck1/3 tsp turmeric powder
  • listcheck1tsp corriander powder
  • listcheck1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • listcheck2 green chillies
  • listcheck1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • listcheck1/2 tsp roasted jeera powder
  • listcheckSalt to taste
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Marinate chicken with all dry spices ( except roasted jeera powder) and ginger garlic paste for 1 hour.
  • Step-2
    Take ghee in a pan and saute onions till golden brown.
  • Step-3
    Add marinate chicken , mix it well and fry everything for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  • Step-4
    Add sliced tomatoes and fry for 2 minutes.
  • Step-5
    Add about 60-70 ml water, cover and cook for 4 minutes on medium heat
  • Step-6
    Add chopped spinach and mix everything well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Step-7
    Now add split green chillies and roasted jeera powder.
  • Step-8
    Cook for another 2 minutes and it's done.
