This is simple ,easy and tasty preparation Key point is blanching spinach leaves to get nice green colour Flavour enhanced by garlic , ginger , green chilli and dash of cardamom powder

Ingredients

  • listcheckSpinach- 150 g
  • listcheckPaneer- 100 g
  • listcheckGhee/ butter- 5 g
  • listcheckGarlic- 5-6 cloves
  • listcheckGinger-1/2 inch
  • listcheckCummin seeds-1 pinch
  • listcheckGreen chilli-2
  • listcheckSalt to taste
  • listcheckRice / wheat flour- 5 g
  • listcheckCardamom powder-1 pinch
  • listcheckGaram masala-1 pinch
  • listcheckFresh cream- 1/2 tsp for garnish
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Clean and blanch spinach leaves {boil water , add spinach leaves, cook for 2-3 mins , remove leaves and add to cold water Or microwave leaves in water ( till cooked)and add to cold water }
  • Step-2
    Coarsely grind garlic, ginger and green chilli
  • Step-3
    Remove this paste , in same grinder jar add Palak leaves,1 tsp rice or wheat flour Grind to form Palak purée
  • Step-4
    Now in a nonstick pan heat 5 g butter or ghee Add cummin seeds
  • Step-5
    add coarsely ground ginger garlic chilli paste
  • Step-6
    add Palak purée and keep stirring
  • Step-7
    Add garam masala, salt and pinch of cardomom powder
  • Step-8
    Add paneer pieces when gravy thickens a bit
  • Step-9
    Garnish with fresh cream or grated paneer Enjoy!!!!
