Basically this is a 'Indian style Protein Pudding' Kheer is a traditional Indian dessert made using milk, rice and a sweetener. In this recipe I've swapped the rice with Soyabean granules and sweetened with Stevia.

Ingredients

  • listcheckSoyabean Granules: 40g
  • listcheckMilk: 200ml
  • listcheckGhee: 10g
  • listcheckAlmonds: 5g
  • listcheckStevia to taste
  • listcheckCardamom + Saffron as per liking
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Keep milk for boiling and let it boil untill its almost half. Boil and squeeze out water from Soyabean.
  • Step-2
    In a pan add the ghee and roast the Soyabean untill golden. Add the Soyabean to the boiling milk and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  • Step-3
    Finally add crushed almonds, cardamom powder, saffron and stevia. Stirr and keep it to chill. Serve Chilled.
