Veg dish made of chana dal with spinach.

Ingredients

  • listcheckGhee 5 gms
  • listcheckSpinach 100 gms
  • listcheckChana or tur dal 30gms
  • listcheckChopped onion 10gm
  • listcheckChopped tomato 10gms
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Soak dal in hot water for 15mins
  • Step-2
    Chop spinach and blanch in hot water
  • Step-3
    In a pan, add ghee, cumin seeds, soaked dal, chopped onions and fry well. Add tomatoes.
  • Step-4
    Add masalas as per ur choice. Added here are turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander & cumin powder, garam masala and little amchur powder.
  • Step-5
    After frying this well, add blanched spinach. Add salt as per taste. Serve hot with roti or rice.
