When you want to celebrate your / your husbands birthday during lockdown period... this could be the solution.. Whey protein birthday cake

Ingredients

  • listcheckWhey protein 2 scoops
  • listcheck3 eggs
  • listcheck100 g Wheat Flour / atta
  • listcheck1/2 spoon baking powder + 1/2 spoon baking soda
  • listcheck150 g Quark / hung curd/ soft cottage cheese
  • listcheckSugar substitute
  • listcheck100 ml semi skimmed milk
  • listcheck100g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • listcheckFor frosting,
  • listcheck100 g Quark / hung curd/ soft cottage cheese
  • listcheck50 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • listcheck1 scoop gold whey protein powder
  • listcheck10 g sugar
  • listcheckVanilla essence 1 TSP both for the cake batter and for the cream frosting
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl
  • Step-2
    Add eggs, quark and 100 ml milk to the batter and whisk it. Easy to whisk so I just used a fork
  • Step-3
    Batter ready to pour like consistency
  • Step-4
    Grease two 9” baking moulds
  • Step-5
    Bake for 15-18 mins at 180C preheated oven or until the screwer comes out clean
  • Step-6
    Wait until both the cakes are cool enough to add frosting
  • Step-7
    Mix all the frosting material, cream is ready
  • Step-8
    Add half of the cream in between two cakes and use rest of the cream to cover it
  • Step-9
    Decorate is as per your wish and let’s celebrate!!!

    Calories and micros are for each serving based on 8 servings per cake !!
