One Pot Instant Meal. I keep chicken, curd & methi mostly stocked as these are my favs.

Ingredients

  • listcheck100 gms rice
  • listcheck300 gms chicken breast
  • listcheck200 gms methi leaves
  • listcheck100 gms curd
  • listcheck1 medium onion
  • listcheck20 ml ghee
  • listcheck20 ml butter
  • listcheck15 gms ginger garlic paste
  • listcheck1 tsp red chilli powder
  • listcheck1 tsp coriander powder
  • listcheck1 tsp turmeric powder
  • listcheck1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • listcheck1 tsp garam masala powder
  • listcheck1 tsp kitchen king masala
  • listcheck1 tsp homemade chicken tikka masala
  • listcheckwater for cooking approx 300 ml
  • listchecksalt as per taste
  • Method

  • Step-1
    In a bowl, wash & soak rice in water for 20 mins.
  • Step-2
    In another bowl take chicken breast cut in medium sized pieces. Add curd beaten well. Add salt & all the dry spices. Set aside for 15-20 mins.
  • Step-3
    Take a thick bottom vessel. Add ghee & butter. Add onion & let it caramalise till brown. Add fresh methi leaves & cook. Add little water & let it cook since methi too releases water.
  • Step-4
    Add rice & marinated chicken in the pan. Add water. Mix well & cook on high flame for 8-10 mins. Simmer for 3-4 mins. Serve Hot with Buttermilk & Salad or Raita.
