Ingredients

  • listcheckPaneer: 100gm
  • listcheckGhee: 10 gm
  • listcheckPalak: 100gm
  • listcheckGarlic: 2 cloves
  • listcheckGinger: 1/2 inch
  • listcheckDry spice(1/4 tsp each) turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala. Cumin seeds. Mustard seeds

  • Method

  • Step-1
    Add paneer in a bowl of boiling water and keep it for 5-10 min. This will soften up the paneer After that cut the paneer into cubes.
  • Step-2
    Wash palak and boil in in a pan for 3 minutes. Then remove the hot water and wash the boiled palak again with cold water. Dry roast ginger, garlic and red chilly for 2-3 min . In a grinding jar, add palak, the roasted spices, Little bit of water to make a puree out of it.
  • Step-3
    The cooking: ghee. When ghee is heated enough add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chilly. Once spluttered add turmeric powder and red chilly powder and mix it for 10 sec. Then add the palak puree, half a cup of water, salt and cook it for 10 min. Once cooked add paneer and garam masala . Cook for 3 more min. And its done!
