I always try to add vegetables in most of my meals as it keeps me full for longer period of time. When you are on diet it's important to give little twist to our traditional way of cooking to fit things in your macros.

Ingredients

  • listcheck30g basmati rice
  • listcheck30g rajmah
  • listcheck10g ghee
  • listcheck150g mixed vegetables ( finely chopped)
  • listcheckFew coriander leaves to garnish
  • listcheck1tsp rajmah masala
  • listcheckSalt to taste
  • listcheck1tsp ginger garlic paste
  • listcheck1small onion finely chopped
  • listcheck1green chilly finely chopped
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Soak rajmah overnight.
  • Step-2
    Next boil it with 1 cup water and some salt. Drain the water and keep it aside.
  • Step-3
    Cook basmati rice separately.
  • Step-4
    In a pan add ghee and fry onions. Once onion are done add ginger garlic paste , finely chopped green chillies and fry.
  • Step-5
    Now add finely chopped veggies and sprinkle some salt, cover and cook it for 10 mins.
  • Step-6
    Once veggies are done add rajmah masala and mix everything well.
  • Step-7
    Now add boiled rice and rajmah.
  • Step-8
    Mix everything, cover and cook it for 5 mins.
  • Step-9
    Garnish it with coriander leaves.
  • Step-10
    You can relish it with curd if that fits into your macros.
