Ingredients

  • listcheckGarlic 2 tsp
  • listcheckGinger 2 tsp
  • listcheckOnion chopped 50g

  • listcheckWhole dry red chilli 1
  • listcheckGreen chillies according to taste
  • listcheckSoy sauce 1table spoon
  • listcheckFor the Rice
  • listcheckBasmati rice 50g
  • listcheckMixed vegetables 1 cup
  • listcheckOlive oil 5g
  • listcheckSalt to taste
  • Method

  • Step-1
    For the chicken:
  • Step-2
    Chop the chicken into cubes and marinate with ginger and garlic as paste, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Step-3
    Heat oil
  • Step-4
    Splutter the red chilli.
  • Step-5
    Saute the onions and green chillies till soft.
  • Step-6
    Add the chicken and give it a good stir for two minutes. Cover and cook.
  • Step-7
    Add a splash of vinegar to taste. Done

    For The rice

    Warm the oil
  • Step-10
    Fry the washed rice for 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Step-11
    Add water (double the quantity in volume).
  • Step-12
    Sprinkle the veggies over the water and add salt to taste. Bring to a boil. Simmer.

    Cover and cook until done.
