Step-1Soak toor dal in water for minimum of 2 hours
Step-2Once dal is soaked, wash it and add all the ingredients mentioned above except oil to a mixer. Add salt as per taste
Step-3Grind Coarsely without adding water
Step-4This mix needs to be steamed, it can be done in Idly plates, pressure cooker, I have done it in Instant pot. If you are using pressure cooker or instant pot, make sure you use stackable pans with water in the cooker
Step-5Grease the plates with Olive oil, make oval shape balls and arrange it on Greased plate
Step-6Steam cook it for around 12 minutes without whistle or if you are using instant pot then leave the whistle in venting position
Step-7Paneer Dal dumplings should be ready , serve it with Mint chutney.
