Rice vermicelli are thin rice flour noodles common in Chinese,thai and southeast Asian cuisine.It is easy to cook and can be accompanied with any dish. Schezwan chicken is an indo chinese dish but we get to see distinct versions. It is quick,easy and flavourful dish.

Ingredients

  • listcheck30gm Rice Vermicelli
  • listcheck1/2Litre Water
  • listcheck5ml Olive oil
  • listcheck1tsp Minced Garlic
  • listcheckSalt as needed
  • listcheckpinch of Crushed Black peppercorns
  • listcheck3ml White Vinegar
  • listcheck1/2tsp chilli flakes and mix dried herbs
  • listcheckSCHEZWAN CHICKEN
  • listcheck150gm Boneless chicken (stripes)
  • listchecksalt
  • listcheck1tsp Soya sauce
  • listcheck1tblsp(15gm) Schezwan Chutney
  • listcheck1/4tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
  • listcheck1medium onion (sliced)
  • listcheckchopped coriander leaves
  • listcheckSTIR FRY VEGGIES
  • listcheck5ml Olive oil
  • listchecksalt
  • listcheck1/2large of Red, Yellow, Green Bell pepper (stripes)
  • listcheck1/2cup Brocali Florets
  • listcheck1/2cup of Mushroom (sliced)
  • listcheckpinch of Nutmeg powder (optional)
  • listcheck1/4tsp Black pepper powder
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Soak the noodles in warm water for 8-10mins.Drain and rinse them under cold water.set aside
  • Step-2
    Heat a large pan over high heat add oil, minced garlic saute it for a min.
  • Step-3
    Add boiled noodles, vinegar and all dry spices mix well and stir fry for couple of minutes until warmed though.
  • Step-4
    For Schezwan chicken heat the oil in pan add chicken pieces cook it until crisp and golden.Remove to plate then fry onions add Schezwan Chutney, Soya sauce and dry spices.
  • Step-5
    Add chicken pieces with little water put the lid on for 2-3mins.
  • Step-6
    Garnish Schezwan chicken with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Step-7
    For stir fry veggies heat the oil in pan add all veggies saute it for 2mins.

    add all dry spices mix well and stir fry for 2-3 mins.
