Smart replacement for you Maida based crusts

Ingredients

  • listcheckVeggies of Choice for toppings, I added Paneer as well 400 gms cauliflower grated(about 5 cups) 2 large eggs, lightly beaten low-moisture shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups) 1 teaspoon salt-free Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon garlic powder and Freshly ground black pepper 1/3 cup pizza sauce Fresh basil leaves and crushed red pepper flakes, for serving (optional)
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Place cauliflower pieces through the food processor using the grating blade; pulse until all the cauliflower is shredded.
  • Step-2
    Add cauliflower to steamer and cover, and steam until tender, about 15 minutes. Transfer cauliflower to a large bowl and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, until cooled, about 15 minutes.
  • Step-3
    Preheat an oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon mat.
  • Step-4
    Mix cheese blend, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper into cauliflower until evenly incorporated. Pour mixture onto the prepared baking sheet; press and shape into a pizza crust.
  • Step-5
    Bake in the preheated oven until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.
  • Step-6
    cool the crust to room temperature and then add pizza sauce. Veggies and paneer or any of your favorite toppings.
  • Step-7
    bake for another 10 mins till the cheese on top melts.
