Ingredients

  • listcheckChana daal - 100 gms
  • listcheckLauki/bottle gourd - 100 gms
  • listcheckOil - 20 gms
  • listcheckTomato - 50 gms
  • listcheckOnion - 50 gms
  • listcheckGinger - 5 gms
  • listcheckGarlic - 20 gms
  • listcheckSpices and salt
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Soak Chana daal for 15 mins
  • Step-2
    Steam chopped bottle gourd and lentils - you can use pressure cooker
  • Step-3
    Heat oil in pan, add chopped onions, tomatos, garlic and ginger
  • Step-4
    fry till onions are golden brown. Add all masalas and salt to taste and fry for a minute
  • Step-5
    Add boil lentils and lauki, mix and cook for 2 mins. It is ready to be served.
