Easy spinach dal cooked in one pot

Ingredients

  • listcheckToor dal raw 50grams
  • listcheckSpinach 1/2 bunch
  • listcheckGreen chili 1
  • listcheckDried red chili 1
  • listcheckMustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • listcheckCumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • listcheckCurry leafs 10
  • listcheckGarlic cloves 1
  • listcheckSalt
  • listcheckTurmeric 1 pinch
  • listcheckChili powder 1/2 tsp
  • listcheckGhee 8 grams
  • listcheckWater to Cooke dal 1:2 ratio
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Heat ghee in a pressure cooker pan and add the tempering now add the washed dal, washed and chopped spinach, and all dry ingredients then add water
  • Step-2
    Fix the pressure cooker lid and place the whistle
  • Step-3
    Wait until you hear 3 -4 whistles
  • Step-4
    Take off the pressure cooker out of the stove and wait until the lid looses it self and take off the dal in to a bowl and serve with roti or rice
