  • listcheckRaw Rice-30g
  • listcheckFresh Methi leaves- 100g
  • listcheckPaneer- 50g
  • listcheckOnion -50 g
  • listcheckTomato-50g
  • listcheckGreen Peas - 30g
  • listcheckGreen chilli-1
  • listcheckGarlic -1 clove
  • listcheckGinger - quarter inch
  • listcheckBay leaf, cloves, cinnamon-as per taste
  • listcheckturmeric powder- quarter teaspoon
  • listcheckcumin seeds- half teaspoon
  • listcheckGhee-10g
  • listchecksalt to taste
  • Method

  • Step-1
    wash the Methi leaves and sprinkle salt on it
  • Step-2
    Finely chop the ginger, garlic and green chilli
  • Step-3
    can use ginger garlic paste instead of the fine chops
  • Step-4
    Increase green chilli if you prefer it more spicy
  • Step-5
    In a pan saute the dry spices (cumin seeds, bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves) in ghee
  • Step-6
    Add chilli, ginger and garlic and saute till raw smell is gone
  • Step-7
    saute onions and tomatoes till they are cooked
  • Step-8
    Add turmeric , dhania powder and saute it
  • Step-9
    Add green peas, paneer and Methi leaves
  • Step-10
    squeeze the Methi leaves before adding to avoid the bitter taste of Methi leaves
  • Step-11
    add little water so that the mixture is cooked
  • Step-12
    Add the cooked rice to the mixture and yummy pulao is ready
