A simple crustless meat and cheese dish that makes a wonderful main dish. Also suitable for keto.

Ingredients

  • listcheckTaco seasoning ( this makes more than you need, save rest for a later use) 🙂
  • listcheck2 tablespoon chilli powder
  • listcheck1 tablespoon paprika
  • listcheck1 tablespoon coarse salt
  • listcheck1 tablespoon ground black pepper
  • listcheck2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • listcheck1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • listcheck1 teaspoon onion powder
  • listcheck1 teaspoon ground oregano leaves
  • listcheck1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper Combine all ingredients in a bowl & set aside.

  • listcheck3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • listcheck6 large eggs
  • listcheck1 cup heavy cream
  • listcheck2 cloves crushed garlic
  • listcheck1 cup grated cheese
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Preheat oven to 350 grams
  • Step-2
    Grease a 9 inch glass or ceramic deep dish pie pan
  • Step-3
    Brown the mince in a frypan.
  • Step-4
    Add taco seasoning & stir.
  • Step-5
    Spread the mince into greased pie dish.
  • Step-6
    In a large bowl combine eggs, cream and garlic. Pour slowly over the beef mix in the dish.
  • Step-7
    Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 30 minutes or until the centre is set and cheese is browned.
  • Step-8
    Remove from oven and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
