When it comes to chicken, not always do you feel like having with the same onion, tomato , ginger red gravy right? At times you want it simple yet tasty!! Tastes best when cooked in mustard oil and the addition of little coconut milk tempers the pungency.

Ingredients

  • listcheckChicken 100 gm
  • listcheckmustard sauce 1 teaspoon
  • listcheckcoconut milk 50 ml
  • listcheckmustard oil 10 gm
  • listchecksalt, turmeric to marinate the chicken
  • Method

  • Step-1
    1. Heat oil in a pan and add kalonji and green chilli. add one pod of garlic chopped.
  • Step-2
    2. Add the chicken which was marinated with salt and turmeric and cook it for 5 min.
  • Step-3
    3. Add 1 spoon of mustard sauce and again cook it for 5 min.
  • Step-4
    4. Add coconut milk and let the chicken cook in it for another 10 min with occasional stirring.
  • Step-5
    5. Add green chilli to taste.
  • Step-6
    6. When the chicken is cooked and gravy is cooked as in pic switch off the flame and serve with white rice.
