So what if it's Durga Puja time and you're on diet? You can totally make your own delicious tasty food and eat it. I was only watching the statuses of people eating tasty foods everyday and I was like "I can't eat any tasty food ☹️?" But guess what!!!! I totally can 😁. I've made this fried rice with extra garlic cause I loooove garlic. Take out the chicken and it's veg 😄. Additional benefit of this? You can make it and pack it and carry it while going out for Pandal Hopping. No need to worry about "I can't eat outside food then what am I supposed to eat and how'll I go out?" Just a spoon and the container will do the work and you can eat it anywhere outside, anytime. It can be your dinner or lunch. So no excuses on this Durga Puja 💪

Ingredients

  • listcheckChicken boneless : 200gm
  • listcheckRice (raw) : 60gm
  • listcheckGhee : 10gm
  • listcheckBeans : 50gm
  • listcheckCapsicum : 50gm
  • listcheckGarlic (Chopped) : 7 cloves
  • listcheckOnion (Chopped) : 20gm
  • listcheckturmeric powder : 1/4tsp
  • listcheckSalt as per taste
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Chop the chicken into small small pieces and marinate it with salt and turmeric powder. Keep it aside
  • Step-2
    boil the beans and capsicum a lil bit. Keep it aside.
  • Step-3
    Cook the rice with the water that you used to boil the beans and capsicum. Thus nothing of the goodness of veggies will be thrown away. Keep the cooked rice aside.
  • Step-4
    Heat up a pan and add 2-3gm of Ghee.
  • Step-5
    Add the chicken pieces and cook them.
  • Step-6
    After the chicken is cooked, take them out and keep it aside.
  • Step-7
    Add rest of the ghee and half of the chopped garlic.
  • Step-8
    Then add the Onion and cook it for a minute.
  • Step-9
    Add the boiled Beans and Capsicum. Cook it for sometime.
  • Step-10
    Add rest of the garlic. Mix everything well.
  • Step-11
    Add the cooked rice and mix everything well.
  • Step-12
    Add salt as per your taste.
  • Step-13
    At last add the cooked chicken pieces and mix everything well.
  • Step-14
    fry the whole thing for sometime.

    Tasty Chicken fried rice is ready 😁.
