The most go-to recipe at my home. Chilla/pancake 😍 It's been almost 3 years I didn't have roti/chapatti. Lentils/Oats/semolina/millets chilla are the substitute for the typical indian bread 😁 Highly nutritious and easy to digest, atleast for me!

Ingredients

  • listcheck1cup Powdered oats
  • listcheckhalf cup semolina
  • listcheckgrated beetroot
  • listcheckSalt and pepper
  • listcheck1 tbsp curd
  • listcheckVeggies of your choice (bell peppers/lettuce/onion/tomato)
  • listcheckgrated tofu
  • listcheckseasoning of your choice
  • listcheckoil if required
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Mix oats, semolina, salt and pepper, grated beetroot, curd with water. Consistency shouldn't be too runny or thick. Saute all veggies and add seasoning. Do not overcook, keep them crunchy. Heat a non-stick pan, pour batter and spread. Cook on a low flame. Once the chilla is perfectly cooked, spread some sauces of choice (I avoid because of preservatives). Add grated tofu and cooked veggies. Garnish with fresh lettuce leaves. Sprinkle some sesame seeds/seasoning or chal masala. Serve it immediately!
