The original recipie isn't my own but I did tweak it a lil to suit my taste buds. The original recipie is was from Pratichi Dixit Sadangi. Tried her recipie 2 weeks back. Original recipie had banana n chocolate..Have tried the same with a lil less sugar and more banana and coffee. Didn't find the macros of baking soda so I didn't add the same in total macros. 1 slice of the bread should have 400 calories approx..quantity of almonds and banana can be changed as per macros

Ingredients

  • listcheckwhole wheat aata - 1 cup
  • listcheckbrown sugar - 1/4 cup
  • listcheck3 overripe banana
  • listcheckAlmonds(ground)- 30
  • listcheckbaking powder - 3/4 teaspoon
  • listcheckbaking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
  • listcheckCoffee powder - as per taste
  • listcheckolive oil -1/8 cup
  • listcheckmilk - 1/4 cup
  • listchecksalt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Method

  • Step-1
    Mash banana and sugar well together
  • Step-2
    Add milk, olive oil and mix well
  • Step-3
    seive all the dry ingredients and fold with banana mixture evenly
  • Step-4
    add ground almond chunks into the mixture
  • Step-5
    grease the baking tin with some olive oil(minimal quantity)pour the mixture into a baking tin.the consistency will not be very runny sprinkle a lil bit of coffee powder on the mixture.
  • Step-6
    preheat the oven and bake at 170degree Celsius for 45 mins
  • Step-7
    let it cool and cut it into equal size slices
