How to make & Black chana with onion and paneer rice

Step-1

Caramalise the onion and tomato paste in oil till it changes colour and seperates from the oil. Add all the above spices except jeera powder and chat masala. Add the overnight soaked chhole and pressure cook for around 20-25 mins. Open the cooker only when the pressure releases on its own. Add chat masala, jeera powder and fresh green corriander leaves.

Step-2

Paneer onion Rice : Take 5 grams ghee in a kadai. Add jeera and half sliced onion. Once the onion changes to pink colour add 50 grams crumbled paneer and some salt. Now add 80 grams cooked rice to it. Garnish with fresh green corriander.

The above quantity is for my 2 times consumption. 1 portion today and another tomorrow
