Good Evening Healthy people , This was our dinner tonight, what about you... #Baked Soya khima samosa #Bakes Soya/Paneer Samosa #All Soya Samosa #Soya sandwich #All /Soya Paratha #Soya tikkis/cutlet #Mutton/chicken khima Samosa (above all the dishes can be made with this stuffing and with non-veg options too).. Yesterday I got lazy and thought to make OFOM (one family one meal). My younger kid 💏 loves Samosa. Mostly I keep the stuffing yellow in colour (like mkt one) and of course more potato becuase that's how they like. Since I wanted to make OFOM I tweaked the recipe and made stuffing which suits our diet needs, of course healthy and kids can have too. Thought to give a complete miss to potato. But my little one made a quick check in the kitchen to inquire which veges am I using and he made sure I use his favourite 򐐮🍠(albeit I used very little). You can add/subtract ingredients as per your likes and macros... Ingredients : Stuffing : soya granules Paneer Onion Garlic Little peas Little potato (Kids choice) Few cashew nuts Few raisins Green chilly Regular spices Coriander *boil soya granules, wash and squeeze the water completely. *also boil peas and keep aside. *take oil/ghee in a pan. *add cashew nuts and raisins and saute for a while, take it out. *in the same pan/ghee add garlic and onion and saute it. *add SoYA granules and peas and cook on slow flame. *Let the moisture evaporate totally so your samosa doesn't get soggy. *once you see it's dry, add Paneer, potato and all the spices.. *let the stuffing cool down completely. Outer layer: Wheat/soya atta Semolina Oil Salt Carom seeds *approximately for 100gm Atta add25gm semolina to get that lovely crispy texture. *add salt and carom seeds to the above flours. *now add oil/shortening to the flour and mix it evenly. *knead the stiff dough using water. *let it sit aside until you prepare your stuffing. *Now roll thick Roti, put stuffing and seal and give samosa shape.. *even if you want to froze you can do, cling wrap them.. *apply/coat samosa with bit of oil. *bake at 180 degree for 25 minutes. *last two minutes at 200 degree for extra golden brown tint and crispiness.. *once done apply bit of oil with brush (not compulsory). *lovely, crispy, 😋, healthy, samosas are ready to eat.. Enjoy, stay Happy and Healthy.. (made this for whole family, eat portion as per macros)
