So you have Dal & Rice in your meals & then veggies to eat. this Sindhi delicacy just fits best 25 gms chana dal 50 gms rice 200 gms palak 1 Onion 1 tomato 4 tsp ghee 50 gms curd 1 tsp ginger garlic paste salt as per taste water as required. 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp roasted cumin powder 1 tsp garam masala powder Onion Rice : soak rice in water for 15 mins. take a pan. add ghee. add 1/2 onion cut in length. let onion turn dark brown. add rice, salt & water. cook just like steam rice & serve hot. Dal Palak (popularly known as saibhaji by Sindhi community) take pressure cooker. add ghee, 1/2 onion, tomato, palak, salt, ginger garlic paste, spices, dal. cook for 5 whistles. mash with a crusher & serve hot. Buttermilk blend curd, salt & water together. chill & serve with lunch.
