Half Gas Release Pose/Ardha Pavan Muktasana

Workout Steps
- Steps 1
Inhale, and raise the left leg up to 90 degrees
- Steps 2
Exhale, bend your leg and grab hold of your left knee or shin
- Steps 3
Interlock your fingers, and bring the knee close to the chest
- Steps 4
Inhale, raise your head up and touch the nose or forehead to the knee
- Steps 5
Keep the right leg straight on the floor
- Steps 6
Hold the pose for 5 breaths
- Steps 7
Exhale, release the head and place in on the floor
- Steps 8
Inhale, straighten the knee and raise the left leg up to 90 degrees
- Steps 9
Exhale, release the left leg down on the floor and come to the starting position
- Steps 10
Repeat on the other side

Precautions: People with high blood pressure or serious back problems like sciatica, piles, hernia or slipped disc or those after recent abdominal surgery should not practice this posture.
Preparation
This pose helps in loosening and relaxing the spinal vertebrae, massaging the abdomen and the digestive organs. It's a perfect pose for removing wind and constipation, increasing blood circulation in abdominal organs and improving digestion. Let's check the steps: Lie down on your back with your hands beside the hips, palms facing downwards. This is the starting position.
