Will Eating Eggs Increases Your Cholestrol?

Fitness Myths
Cholesterol is a waxy substance found in our body and animal products like meat, egg, and dairy. It plays a vital role in the production of hormones, is a precursor of Vitamin D, is a component of each cell, and many other functions. Dietary cholesterol does not have a significant effect on your cholesterol level. Secondly, dietary cholesterol can only increase your bad cholesterol (LDL) when your overall food intake is not on point or lifestyle is not good.

Eggs have earned a bad-repo with regards to cholesterol, when it comes to eggs, check out this study - 70 young men followed a high-fat diet with 3-14 eggs that too for five months and guess what there was no difference in LDL(bad cholesterol) before the study and after the study. Only having cholesterol in some food items does not mean that it will increase body cholesterol. Eating eggs with proper overall nutrition and workout actually can improve your lipid profile, and even in most of the cases, imbalances in lipid profile happens because of bad lifestyle. Instead, just fearing individual food items that can harm your health, focus on improving your health by following a structured diet, and involving in any physical activity.
