================================= This question arises a lot of times that's why we recommend weight training even if the goal is fat loss So, here is the answer- When you are following a calories deficit diet that is eating less than your body actually requires then there are high chances of muscle loss. To minimize that muscle loss what you can do is put them under load so that body needs that muscles to handle that much load otherwise extra muscle is useless for the body. This can be achieved by weight training.
