Everyone is busy these days but no one,is busier than the modern-day mom! We spend large chunks of the day with our kids: cleaning them , feeding them, playing with them, and shuffling them to their various activities. If you’re a working mom, chances are, your life is even busier! You can stay fit as a busy mom if you understand why it’s important. Making fitness a priority doesn’t mean you have to go to the gym every day. And, you might be surprised by all the quick benefits you get from taking care of yourself, working out, and eating well. Besides losing weight, however, there are several great reasons to incorporate staying fit into your life.

1. Kick up those endorphins! ******************************** Taking care of kids all day is stressful–and it doesn’t take long for that to start to show in your reactions to the kids. Those endorphins, which are morphine-like chemicals naturally produced when you exercise, will help diminish pain and cause positive feelings. It’s a cheap, organic, and natural feel-good option. 2. You have to be able to keep up with your kids! ************************************************* Kids are fast–and if you’ve let your exercise routine slide, it won’t be long before you’re huffing and puffing as you struggle to keep up with them. By incorporating fitness into your daily routine, you’ll find that you’re better equipped to keep up with your kids no matter what they’re doing. 3. You get to take a break! ****************************** When you’re exercising, you’re engaging in self-care–one of the most important parts of keeping your sanity intact when you’re wrestling with the kids all day. 4. Exercise is a known stress reducer. *************************************** It might not erase the stress of mom life, work issues, and other challenges entirely, but it will help decrease your overall stress levels and make it easier for you to face the day in front of you 5. You’ll build confidence! ******************************** Working out gives you a chance to build and set new goals–and fitting back into those pre-pregnancy jeans is definitely a confidence boost! 6. You’ll have more “me time.” *************************************** When you’re in the middle of your workout, you’re doing something that’s just for you. Many moms struggle to find that critical “me time” over the course of the day, but when you have a set exercise routine scheduled, you know that critical time is coming. 7. You’ll set a great example for your kids! ************************************************************* Those little eyes are always watching, and the way you handle your fitness routine may shape the way your kids handle theirs in the future. When you’re a busy mom, you have to put your needs on the to-do list and make sure you get to them. If you want to exercise more regularly, look at your daily routine and find time to do it. Sometimes you need a break from being mommy and need to be reminded you were a woman before you became a mom. She’s still in there and you shouldn’t neglect her.Staying physically fit and emotionally healthy is just as important for you as it is for your family. If you don’t take care of yourself, you won’t be able to take care of anyone else.As a busy mom, don’t get so busy that you forget to make your self-care a priority. #Fitmom #selfcare #momwholifts #FittrCoach
