The name of the movement comes from a slightly risky position you put yourself into while performing this exercise, but as long as you work with proper form and load, you will not crush your skull. Skull crusher, also known as lying triceps extension, is a good exercise that works primarily on the long-head of the triceps. Here’s the right way to perform this exercise: Lie on a flat bench face up with feet flat on the ground. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with a straight arm directly over your shoulders. This is the starting position. Now, move the dumbbells gradually down by flexing your elbows. Lower the dumbbells to either side of the head till you can without moving your upper arm. Return to the starting position by slowly extending the elbows and repeat for the desired number of repetitions. Have you ever tried them? Let us know in the comments below
