Since it is low in calorie, your concern of gaining weight during fat loss journey is well taken care off. When we make a careful selection of ingredients, the MACRO and MICRO nutrients like protein and certain vitamins also become part of our diet. Salad improves our gut health and helps in digestion of food. While following calorie deficit diet during fat loss journey, thus salad plays an important role when you incorporate them in your diet. Be it while dinning out or while attending a party, this is an easily available option from the menu to choose from and makes it easy to be consistent in diet and helps us to stay away from calorie rich unhealthy food items. Selection of Ingredients: Choose from wide variety of low-calorie vegetables like lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, capsicum, mushrooms, French beans, baby corn, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, spinach, carrot etc. Dressings: Choose dressings which are low in calorie e.g. mustard, ginger & sesame, apple cider vinegar, lemon etc. Certain dressings like mayonnaise, hollandaise are high in caloric value; so, you may quantify them. Preparation: Salad is easy to prepare where you just toss the ingredients in a bowl while adding some dressings and sprinkle salt, pepper for taste. Certain ingredients need to be boiled or sautéed first like broccoli, bell peppers, mushrooms, French beans etc. You may also sprinkle some seeds on top like flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds etc which are rich with fibre, minerals, antioxidants and omega 3. Add-ons: You may add sliced boiled eggs, shrimps, boiled chicken cubes etc to meet the requirements of protein.

Haha no no, i had avocado at home fr baby. So thought nw il finish incase it fits my macros. Also i love avocado milk shake so thought ill ask 🙄
